  1. I like the idea.
This reminds me of the themes I set for each room when I moved into my present property. 13 years later, they’ve all played true. Unfortunately, I gave quite a ‘clean’ clinical theme for the bathroom. Now it won’t allow me to luxuriously soak. It’s get washed, get dry, get out. Bo-hoo.

  2. Interesting idea, to have a theme for the year. I tend to pile up on the resolutions (not just at New Year’s), but it’s true that everything gets muddy and it’s hard to prioritize. I like the idea of thinking that I’m going to focus *most* on one concept this year, and feel relaxed because I can focus on the other things later. Now, if only these various tasks didn’t ALL have to be dealt with this year, hmm… Good luck with your “growth” theme, it sounds like a good one!

      1. Well, I’ve definitely had years where, in retrospect, the theme seemed to be “disaster”! And hey, I survived, so it’s all good. I think you have a good start with “growth” – looking forward to seeing what you post.

  3. A couple of my blogger friends choose a word for every year. One’s been doing it for practically ever—she revisits the word now and then to discuss her progress, and at the end of the year lists all the words over the years. It’s like a bullet journal for me, tho—sounds awesome and like a real grownup thing to do, but in the end completely unsuited to my personality.

I’ve been MIA for quite some time, but I’m trying to be back. Call it a resolution. 😉

    1. Well if it works for them, maybe it will work for me. If it’s a disaster…well I tried didn’t I? 😛
I’ve had MIA moments of my own. I think it’s part of the blogger life. Good luck on coming back! 🙂
