Beneath the sun, on the sand

Easter-egg blue sky like a fairytale land

Among the waves, salty air

Catching crabs, wind blowing my hair

Hotdogs, hot breeze, no worries, not a care

I’m ready for a beach trip. Can you tell? πŸ˜‰

  1. Very nice poem, short, sweet, and to the point. Your acrostic paints a vivid image of how you see the beach, I only wish I had the same view. Haha that said, very nicely written.

    1. Thanks! Maybe one day you’ll go and have a different experience than your first and be able to enjoy the beach. (As long as there is a lot of sunscreen involved πŸ˜‰ )

      1. I don’t know, maybe I should invent one, then all the people who are like us could actually have a high enough quantity of the stuff that we could go outside for an hour or two without being burnt to a crisp lol

      2. Haha, yeah! I can see the ads now…Tired of looking like a tomato in the summer? Order your truck load of sunscreen today and keep your vampire-pale complexion from being ruined. πŸ˜€

  2. Hey Megan, I sent an invitation for our private CampNaNo blog. Did you receive it? If not, give me a shout and I’ll resend it πŸ™‚

I love hearing from you!
