For the people of this land
Remain, freedom stand
Empty is our lives in chains
Echoes of existence all that remains
Decide, is freedom worth fighting for
Or do you love complacence more
My freedom is in my hand, do I choose to stand
For the people of this land
Remain, freedom stand
Empty is our lives in chains
Echoes of existence all that remains
Decide, is freedom worth fighting for
Or do you love complacence more
My freedom is in my hand, do I choose to stand
Very true if we don’t fight for ourselves no one wilk

That is indeed the question: “My freedom is in my hand, do I choose to stand.” I love that you ended with it leaving the answer open to interpretation.

A lot of times, we stay trapped in our own minds and the freedom we’re looking for is already there. We just have to take it. I’m glad you liked it!
