Welcome to day 2 of the quote challenge! In my last post, I decided to post quotes from fictional characters after posting a few words by G.K. Chesterton that explained that fairy tales teach us that dragons can be beaten. There is great truth in fiction and this bit of wisdom from Gandalf is a wonderful example.
Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love. — Gandalf, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Everyone can make a difference no matter who they are or how small they feel. Small acts of kindness shine in the darkness and light the world with hope. Thank you C.S. Lewis and Gandalf for that bit of wisdom. 🙂
Now for the three lucky nominees…
